All is now set for the inauguration of the Association of Juju Musicians executives headed by Queen Ayo Balogun. The event is billed for Wednesday 3 November, 2010 at Matino’s Hall, along Otunba Jobi Fele Way, Alausa, Lagos.
According to Ayo Balogun, “the event will be star-studded, going by the response we are receiving outside.â€
She informed that the crème de la crème in the society including the Governor of Lagos State, Babtunde Raji Fashola, King Sunny Ade, Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi, Sir Shina Peters, Bolaji Ayorinde, Executive Vice chairman of IGI, Remi Olowude and the Oniru of Iruland, Oba Abiodun Oniru, among others, are expected at the event which commences at 12 noon.
The executives came on board about two years ago through the effort of Admiral Dele Abiodun, PMAN President and Sir Shina Peters, who is the chairman of the Board of Trustees, among others.
Association of Juju Musicians (AJUM), is the umbrella body of all juju musicians in the country and it was established about 15 years ago as JUBAL before it metamorphosed to AJUM four years ago.
