Ambassadors In Sport Nigeria, AIS, has kicked off its annual youth league at the Federal Housing Authority Football pitch, Festac, Lagos State.
In the matches played so far, Global Impact defeated Anglican Church 2-0, Christ Glorious Church and Medallion Sport played 1-0 while Christ Miracle Church Mission humbled Messiah C&S 2-0
Action continues today when Catholic Church battle Christ Embassy FC, Christ Miracle Church Mission will also confront RCCG.
On Friday, Covenant Christian Centre will battle Medallion Sports while Christ Glorious Church confront Anglican in the last match of the day.
AIS, Sports Director, Peter Ottache, was impressed with the performance of the ten churches that registered for this year’s edition. He said the final ceremony will hold sometime in December.
