Nemesis caught up with four suspected motorcycle thieves on Thursday when they were nabbed by residents of Ijagemo in Iba Local Council Development Area, LCDA, of Lagos State, South-West Nigeria.
The suspects, who were arrested at Bada compound, Ijagemo gave their names as Sodiq Akinola of 7, Abaranje Road, Ikotun; Ifeanyi Nzogwa of 14, Moshalasi Street, Isolo; Taye Akinwale of 17 Community Road, Ijegun and Ibrahim Badejo of 25, Samuel Adeoti Street, Ijegun.
P.M.NEWS learnt that eight suspected okada thieves were noticed in the community but as the residents tried to arrest the suspects, four of them fled.
As the residents struggled with the invaders, one of the residents called the Baale-elect of Ijagemo, High Chief Abdul Hakeem Babatunde Balogun, on phone and he sent reinforcement and also called the police at Isheri Oshun Police Division.
One of the suspect was said to have called Mrs. Risikatu Saka on phone. When she arrived, the police arrested her and the four suspects.
A source at the Isheri-Oshun Police Division has confirmed to P.M.NEWS that the five suspects will soon be arraigned in court.
