Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo on Tuesday in Lagos, said the memory of his late wife Stella, would remain in his mind until his death.
In a brief chat with reporters at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Ikeja, Lagos, Chief Obasanjo said the vacuum created by her transition was too big to be filled in the family.
He described his late wife as a “very nice person.’’
The former president said he would never forget the sterling qualities of his deceased wife as well as her motherly role in the family during her lifetime.
He also stated that he would continue to cherish all the good things that late Stella stood and lived for.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Chief Obasanjo arrived at the airport from Abuja in company of his friend, Mr. Andrew Young, United States’ Permanent Representative at the United Nations during Mr Jimmy Carter’s administration.
