Former Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Chimaroke Nnamani, now a Senator has been re-arraigned before a Federal High Court in Lagos on charges of money laundering to the tune of N5.4 billion.
The arraignment before another judge, Justice Charles Efang Archibong, because the former presiding judge, Justice Tijani Abubakar has been transferred to Port Harcourt division.
As at the time of filing this report, the charges were still being read to him and some of his aides who were charged along with him.
Also standing trial with the former governor are: Sunday Onyekazuru Anyago, Sylvia Onwugbuneli and some companies including Rainbow Net Nigeria Limited, Hillgate Nigeria Limited, Cosmos F. M., Capital City Automobile Ltd, Reinaissance Hospital and MEA Elizabeth High School.
