FIBA-Africa Qualifier: Royal Hoopers Intesify Training

Royal Hoopers Basketball Club of Port Harcourt have moved to Lagos to continue with their preparations for the FIBA-Africa Zone III club qualifiers for Men which dunks off in Liberia next Monday.

The Ogoh Odaudu-tutored side will be taking part in the biggest club championship in Africa for the first time after finishing second at the just concluded NBBF/DSTV Premier League Top 8 play-offs.

The team which train twice daily at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria have also lined up friendly matches for proper preparation before departing for Monrovia, Liberia on Saturday.

Odaudu said the club management moved the team to Lagos to enable them  concentrate, believing the move would afford them an opportunity to play some friendlies before heading for Liberia, whereHoopers will fight for one of the two tickets available for the zone.
