Afro-Juju music superstar, Sir Shina Peters, will lead a crop of new generation star artistes participating as Hennessy Artistry 2010 returns with a three-part collabo project called Like A Bottle Experience.
The all-star talents have come together to create a song entitled Like A Bottle, set to lift the bar a notch higher in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
The artistes, apart from the Afro-Juju crooner are Nigerian rapper, M.I., soul music singer, Nneka; lyricist Ice Prince and alternative soul guitarist, Bez.
Like A Bottle was produced by Kas, the brain behind the hit songs Fi Mi le and Wind For Me. The track likens every artiste’s goal of the ultimate performance to that of Hennessy cognac and has already begun to make its rounds on the radio air waves.
The music video, the second part of the project, shot by Dragon Fly Productions, expresses the different styles of the artistes and shows them making their way to the ultimate concert.
The video was released yesterday at a special premiere held at Protea Hotel, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos.
The third part of the project will bring Like A Bottle Experience to life with an exclusive Grand Finale Halo concert at GET Arena in Lagos, 27 November.
Making its debut in 2007, Hennessy Artistry began with a contest between bartenders and followed in 2008 with that of DJs, then in 2009, a live music contest between five Nigerian urban music artistes that later produced one of the stars in this year’s edition of the show.
