Parmigiani the Swiss manufactured watches has entered the Nigeria market. Basking in the euphoria of its success in other parts of the world, the brain behind the product has spread its tentacles to Nigeria.
According to the Area Sales Manager of Parmigiani, Gabor Nagy, having a stable and permanent market in Nigeria is a long nurtured dream, “but we have to be patient and make sure we get the right channel to do so.â€
He said Parmigiani has eventually found a strong partner in Hole19 Group of Companies headed by Mr. Remi Ogundeji as the major distributor in the country, while Vintage & Luxury Concepts will act as exclusive retailers.
Parmigiani, according to Gabor, is for unique people and therefore cannot be found in any store aside Vintage, and Luxury Concepts.
Among many watch lovers who own a Parmigiani, are former Super Eagles Captain, Austin Jay Jay Okocha and international music celebrity, Seal.
As part of its contribution to mark the golden jubilee anniversary of Nigeria, the Swiss company has produced a special wrist watch tagged ‘Spirit of Nigeria’ and it will be sold exclusively to Nigerians.
Ogundeji said it is a priviledge for his outfit to serve as a retailer to Parmigiani “because it is the best wrist watch brand in the world.â€
