It was a mixture of fun and excitement last weekend as youths in Sapele, Delta State, took turn to showcase latest dance steps in the ongoing Maltina road show tagged Show Your Swaga.
The show later produced six winners that went home with units of 2.5 KVA generating sets, two units of 21-inch television set, two units of home theatre VCD set and lots of Maltina freebies.
At least 50 youths were shortlisted to participate in the grand finale and at the end, Oghenefejiro Sajere, Kelvin Anaghe and Sule Prince were adjudged the best, being first and second runners-up respectively in the male category.
“It is great to be adjudged the best dancer in Sapele, considering the number of people that turned up for the show. I will say that hard work and total belief in myself and above all, providence, were the main factors that earned me this honour. I will forever cherish it,†said Sajere as he was presented with the star prize of a 21-inch TV set.
Mr. Tunji Aikomo of Bates Cosse, the event managers, promised that the show will not lose the glamour and popularity that it has attracted to itself as it moves to Yenagoa, the capital city of Bayelsa State.
