Samba Music Boss, Bob Ikediala Robbed

Thursday 16 September, 2010 was a day that Bob Ikediala, CEO of Samba Music will not forget in a hurry. In the afternoon of that day, the music entrepreneur was attacked by armed robbers and not only did he lost over $20,000 to the men of the underworld in broad day light, the trauma of facing a corked gun will live forever with him.

Information made available to Showbiz Trends revealed that Bobike, as he is fondly called, had gone to a bureau de change at Abibu Oki Street around the Marina, Lagos Island, where he changed over N3  million to dollars for a foreign business transaction.

The showbiz impresario, after the transaction, headed back to the parking lot opposite UBA headquarters, where he packed his vehicle.

Bobike was said to have barely unlocked his car when two men accosted him in a commando-like style and forced him to get into the car at gun point, while he was instructed to drive to Apongbon bridge where he was later dispossessed of the hard currency, some naira, his identification card and other documents.

After the operation, the robbers were said to have jumped on two motorcycles, obviously waiting for them at the foot of the bridge and fled from the scene.

He later reported the robbery incident at the nearby Ebute-Ero Police Station.
