Nigerian couples have been advised to always put God first in their marriages in order to have a successful marital life and overcome temptation.
Mr. Idowu Obasa, chairman, Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area, Lagos State, South West, Nigeria, gave the advice at the launching of a book littled: ‘Helpmate or hushband, a marital problem solving book, written by Mrs. (Pastor) Folake Adejuyigbe, of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
Idowu, who was the chief launcher of the book said many marriages are being choked with one problem or the other adding that the solution to such problem is for couples to move closer to God.
He advised couples enmeshed in marital problems to get copies of the book which he said will assist in finding solutions to their problems.
The author of the book, Mrs. Adejuyigbe, said she received the inspiration to write the book came from God. The economic situation in the country she said has brought about a lot of problems into marriages. She enjoined every couple and singles to get a copy of the book in finding solutions to their relationship problems.
