Senator Adekunle Muse has joined the senatorial race in Lagos Central District on the platform of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN.
This has ended the speculation that the former Ports Director would not run owing to an allegation of non-performance and public critism that he had not brought enough grandeur to legislative seat since he occupied same.
He will contest against Hon. Oyinlomo Danmole, Special Adviser on Central Business District to Governor Babatunde Fashola, and Hon. Arole Fancy, a member of House of Representatives.
Danmole had been election into the House of Represenatives thrice and he was Special Adviser on Political and Legislative Matter to the former governor, Asiwaju Tinubu from 2003 to 2007.
Muse, former Apapa Local Government chairman, is expected to declare his aspiration very soon after returning from the lesser hajj in Saudi Arabia.
He had informally fired back at critics who, believed that he had not been a fire brand lawmaker on the floor of the Senate, saying that the work and schedule of federal legislators were beyond the comprehension of his detractors.
