The New Afrika Shrine will be agog tonight as Fuji King, Wasiu Omogbolahan Anifowoshe, a.k.a. K-1 De Ultimate, performs in honour of Fela.
The show, which is the day three of the ongoing Felabration, will also feature live performances by Ade Bantu, Benn Paladin, Djinee, Efya, Nneka, Waje and a few other upcoming stars.
When P.M.NEWS called at the Shrine yesterday, Fuji lovers especially fans of K-1 were excited that they will have the opportunity of watching him perform live tonight.
Theo Lawson, Chairman, Organising Committee, Felabration, told P.M.NEWS that K-1 has sent words across that he will be at the Shrine tonight. “As you can see, we have put all the necessary things in place, including security. We are ready for K-1.â€
P.M.NEWS gathered that apart from the Fuji star on the bill, the organising committee is also working towards receiving the internationally acclaimed Makossa king, Awilo Logomba, who is likely to arrive tomorrow.
Yesterday, Weird MC, Positive Force Band and others performed at the New Afrika Shrine to kick start the musical. performance.
Felabration will come to an end on Sunday, 17 October, 2010.
