Adaranijo Eyes House Of Reps Seat

The Chairman of Orile-Agege Local Council Development Authority, LCDA, Lagos, South-West Nigeria, Honourable Abiodun Taofeek Adaranijo, has declared his intention to run for the Federal House of Representatives in 2011.

Adaranijo, who veered into politics from his former office as secretary to a Community Development Association, became the first elected Orile-Agege LCDA chairman, when Orile-Agege LCDA was created by the Bola Tinubu administration.

Having served twice as chairman, he has decided to take his wealth of political experience to the federal level to represent his people better.

According to political elites and electorate, Adaranijo’s present political ambition is enhanced by his track record of achievements throughout his tenure and service to the people at the local level.

They cited the completion of the Orile-Agege LCDA secretariat as one of his greatest achievements while in office.
