The Chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area, Hon. Abiodun James Faleke has commenced the rehabilitation of deplorable roads within the council area in fulfilment of his promise during the celebration of his 200 days in office, held at the council secretariat recently.
The roads are: Abisogun Leigh, (Ogba), Abiodun Ajagun (Ogba), Oyatogun/Muyibi junction (Oke-Ira), Ajayi Road (Oke-Ira), Budland Street (Ojodu), Olaleke Street (Ojodu) and Gbadamosi Street (Ojodu).
Others are: Akinsanya Street, Adebowale Street, Kayode Yusuff, Aina Street and Yetunde Morgam, all in Ojodu and Odunsanmi Street, Ogba, Lagos.
Faleke said that prior to the rehabilitation of the roads, the entire roads network was often congested with daily traffic snarls due to their bad shapes.
He added that the purpose of the upgrading was to create easy movement for the people of the area, thereby enhance their standard of living.
“The rehabilitation would help traffic, beautify the environment and also contribute to economic and social activities in the area,†Faleke said.

The chairman of the LCDA is talking here as If something good has been done to the roads. They only filled the pot holes with Sand and the rain will soon wash them away. Honorable Faleke has done nothing.. Nothing since he resumed Office.
