The National Chairman of New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, Chief Boniface Aniebonam has advised aspirants to emulate President Goodluck Jonathan’s non-violent political campaigns.
In a statement he issued Tuesday in Lagos, Aniebonam said his NNPP admire and appreciate Jonathan’s friendly political messages and his approach to issues.
The NNPP national chairman urged all politicians to ensure that their campaigns are issue-based and not engage in bitterness, blackmail or name-calling.
He added that politicians should stop hiring crowds for rallies, advising office seekers to distribute manifestoes to Nigerians to afford the electorate the opportunity to make their choice based on programmes of the aspirants.
