The councillor representing ward ‘A’ Ayobo in the Ayobo Ipaja local council development area, LCDA, Lagos State, Nigeria, Ayodeji Adefioye has extended the dividends of democracy to people in his constituency.
To empower 62 women and youths in the area, the councillor who is a member of the council’s sports committee organised a two-week training programme for bead making, artworks, izal production, catering and stove wool manufacturing.
At the end of the training, the councillor also gave out sewing machines, grinding machines, clippers, helmets and recharge cards to several beneficiaries.
Adefoye assurred his people that the free vocational training would be a continuous exercise as a fulfillment of his election promises.
