The Lagos State Association of Plumbing Contractors (LSAPC) has urged both the Federal and Lagos State governments to chart a new course that would be of more benefit to Nigerians after Nigeria’s 50th independence anniversary coming up on October 1.
The association’s president, Dr. Jacob Awotoye gave kudos to President Goodluck Jonathan and Lagos State governor over the positive step so far taken to move the country forward economically and politically.
He said the government should adopt pragmatic measures and create employment opportunities for the youths.
“This is the time for government to tackle the already dilapidated structures that include power, education, health and the economy. â€
Awotoye who was addressing the members of the association recently praised the Lagos State governor Mr Babatunde Fashola and his predecessor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for their immense contribution to the development of infrastructure in the state.
He tasked his members to cooperate with the state government so that they could benefit more from the state’s economic development.
