The Chairman, Mushin Local Government Council, Lagos State, Nigeria, Mr. Olatunde  Babatunde Adepitan, has attributed the mass failure in the General Certificate of  Education examinations to lack of necessary prerequisites and techniques to tackle  questions.

Speaking during the inspection of the free GCE coaching classes for indegent students in  Mushin Local Government and its environs, the council boss enjoined the candidates to  braze-up to the examination task.

Adepitan advised the students that the provision of free GCE forms for them was not a  guarantee for their success in the ongoing examination, saying that that was why seasonal  teachers were organised for their free coaching classes.
