Council Boss Praised For Deflooding FESTAC

Relief came the way of residents of Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State,  South West Nigeria recently, as the perennial flooding ravaging the area in the past  became history as a result of the de-flooding initiative of the local government through  clearance of drainage channels.

And in appreciation, the Chairman, ANACOWA Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association in  Amuwo Odofin, FESTAC branch, Comrade James Ahonye, commended the council boss, Comrade  Ayodele Adewale, for letting them feel the impact of his administration in terms of  dividends of democracy.

He described Adewale as the best chairman the council ever had and as one, who has been  following the footsteps of Governor Babatunde Fashola, while also identifying clearance  of drainage channels, free health service, distribution of GCE forms and rehabilitation  of roads, among others, as major areas where the local government recorded remarkable  achievement.

He noted that the council chief is indeed a typical example of public servant-leader, who  is dedicated to the upliftment of the downtrodden, while urging him not to relent in his  effort in ensuring more better service to the people.
