ACN Aspirant Meets Constituency

An Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, aspirant in Oshodi-Isolo Constituency 01, Southwest  Nigeria, Mr. Felix Adewale Ajayi was recently the guest of members of his constituency  during his Meet The People tour of the area to seek their votes into the Lagos State  House of Assembly in the next general elections.

Going down memory lane, Ajayi revealed how, while still in far away United Kingdom, his  people beckoned on him to come and join in the task of nation building and how he heeded  the voice of his teeming admirers back home who believed that he had what it takes to  move their constituency to the next level.

He told the gathering that his attempts were frustrated several times but because he  believed that it was not yet time for him to be in the driving seat, he took the  disappointment with equanimity, more so some political forces in operation then made sure  that his efforts were thwarted.

“My dear fellow compatriot, those set backs should galvanize us this time around to  compliment the efforts of Alhaji Farouk Oshodi so as to further enhance the living  standard of our people,” Ajayi submitted.

He gave thumbs up to members of the Felix Adewale Ajayi Campaign Organisation Club, FAACO  and promised to deliver the true dividends of democracy when eventually elected into the  office in 2011, adding that the motivation to run is premised on a genuine interest to  serve and bring positive change to his constituency.

“I promise to pursue the party manifesto of transforming our country, create wealth,  jobs, conduct proper consultation with my constituency and be accountable as well as  invest in education and provide scholarship for the younger generation and also provide a  befitting library and most importantly recreational facility,” Ajayi however explained  that his party was not carried away by the time table released by the Independent  National Electoral Commission, INEC, and urged the body to return to the drawing board to  examine it adding that ACN is fully prepared for the general elections.
