A new date has been announced for the Lagos workshop of The Street University Programme, TSUP.
In a statement made available to Showbiz Trends in Lagos, the seminar, aimed at empowering youths at the grassroots is expected to hold on Friday 22 September, but it has now been postponed till 22 October, 2010 in Lagos.
According to Helen Sosu, coordinator of the project, their partners, the Lagos State Ministry of Education believed that there is a need to maximize youth participation as it targets youths between the age of 11 and 35.
“The objective is to make it possible for Lagos State students to participate in the workshop. As you already know, the workshop is all about the youths. TSUP workshop will not be complete without them,†she said.
Meanwhile, the date for the Abuja workshop remains the same. It will hold at the Women’s Conference Centre, Abuja.
