The Chairman of Orile Agege Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, Mr. Taofeek Abiodun Adaranijo, last week commissioned a transformers he donated to communities in the area.
The beneficiary communities are Olabua, Olowookere and Olaropo, all in Oko Oba area of the council area.
Speaking at the occasion, Adaranijo said that the gesture was part of his administration’s corporate social responsibility to the various communities in the area.
He said that it is the priority of his administration to see to the welfare of the people by bringing the dividends of democracy to their door steps.
He added that he will equally ensure that some of the roads in the communities are tarred before the expiration of his tenure.
He commended the residents, especially the elders, for their cooperation since the inception of his administration.
Speaking on behalf of the residents, Chief S.A. Doherty, chairman of Olowookere Community Development Area, lauded the council boss for bringing development to the area.
