The chairman of Olojo Drive Traders Association, Chief Innocent Okeke has commended the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola for his efforts to make the state a mega city.
Speaking at the union’s secretariat at Olojo Drive, Ojo Local Government Area, Lagos, Nigeria, Okeke pledged the support of his association for Fashola’s administration until the dream of making Lagos State a mega city is realised.
He noted that the government has touched almost every facet of the economy with the provision of facilities that will help Lagosians live comfortably.
Okeke pointed out that some shylock landlords and land developers are, however, working towards destroying the good efforts of the government through their incessant increase in house rents and shops in the state.
He advised that the government’s attention should be focused in that area so that the common man could enjoy working in the state.
On the 2011 election, he said the present administration in Lagos State has performed well and Fashola should be allowed to serve a second term in office.
