Ikotun-Igando Development Coalition, a community-based non-government organisation, has thrown its weight behid the second term bid of Lagos State governor, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola and Mr. Monsurudeen Ashami, Chairman, Ikotun-Igando Local Council Development Area, Lagos Nigeria.
Alhaji Ogunbewon Musiliu. and Mr. Akinwunmi A, the chirman and secretary of the group respectively, mde this known in a release issue during a general meeting with the founder and president of the group, Mr. Taiwo Abdullahi, paid them a courtesy visit recently.
The group in its speech described both the governor and the chairman as leaders who have redefined leadership, governance as well as make dividend of democracy to get to all nooks and crannies of the state.
The group has therefore decided to canass and ensure that every reasonable thing is done to bring them back to power.
Both the Chairman and the secretary of the group also commended the Mr. Solomon Adeola Olalekan, a representative of Alimosho constituency II at the Lagos state House of Assembly, for his empowerment programme to the people of the constituency while assuring him of its members continous loyalty and support.
