The Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State, Nigeria is currently sponsoring 17 pupils from primary and secondary schools in the council area to Ghana.
According to a source, the 17 pupils and three officials traveled to Ghana on Wednesday are expected back tomorrow.
The excursion took the pupils to Next Door Beach and Resort In Kokobite, a 30-kilometre distance from Accra, the Ghanian capital; Lababi Beach and Abori Botanical Garden, a hilly town about 120 kilometre in the Eastern region.
The visiting pupils were also at the 50-metre high Akaa water falls in the Eastern region, a distance of 100 kilomitre from Aburi gardens.
The 17 pupils were selected from the political class, Christian and muslim groups and civil servants in the council.
