Speaking with P.M.NEWS shortly after the lecture, the Coordinator and CAN youth leader in Orile-Agege LCDA, Hon. S.O. Ashade said the purpose of the lecture was to inform the leadership of the CAN that the youths in Orile-Agege are well composed and non violent.
“We want the leadership of the CAN to know that we are leading by example for youths in the other local government areas to emulate us. We equally want to know what our elected representatives have in stock for us after we have voted them into power,†he said.
“The youths in Orile-Agege LCDA are not into hard drugs and we will never collect money from any politician to fight or kill on their behalf. We are saying no to thuggery,” he added.
