DPO Meets Stakeholders Over Security

In an effort to ensure safety of lives and properties, the Divisional Police Officer, DPO,  Adekunle Police Division, Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria, CSP Oliver Nzirim recently held a meeting with  stakeholders to fine tune security measures in the area.

The meeting was attended by residents of Makoko, traditional rulers, market leaders, commercial  vehicle operators, artisans, students and community leaders.

Nzirim urged the stakeholders to join hands with the police to ensure maximum security in  Makoko and its environs.

“The police are your friends and they are not spirits or supernatural human beings. That is why  I have invited you to seek your cooperation in the fight against crime. I have circulated my  phone number and that of my men. All you need do is call us any time you suspect people of  questionable character around your area,” the DPO advised.

Dignitaries at the stakeholders forum also included the Chairman of Yaba Local Council  Development Area, Hon. Jide Jimoh and the Divisional Crime Officer, DCO of the division, DSP  M.A Oloyede
