Danfo Knocks Down Woman

Barely one week after one person was killed while 10 others sustained injuries when a Lagos commuters bus popularly known as molue  lost control as a result of brake failure while descending the P & T bridge  at Obalende, Lagos and hit a Coca-Cola trucks and a NAPEP tricycle, another vehicle, an LT 35 bus with registration number XX 162 AAA at the weekend lost control while on the same bridge crushed a middle aged woman and broke her two legs.

An eyewitness told P.M.NEWS that the unidentified driver attempted to overtake another bus on the bridge while trying to go and load passengers back to Ajah when he lost control and ran over the woman.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene immediately the accident occurred.

Another witness at the scene of the accident told P.M.NEWS that the owner of the vehicle, a military officer on learing of the accident promptly arrived the scene and invited the Lagos State ambulance bus officials to come and convey the critically injured woman to the Military Hospital,  Yaba for treatment.

The ill-fated vehicle is currently being impounded at Onikan Police Division, Lagos.
