Community Gets New Chief Imam

The Council of Chief Imams in Alimoso Local Government Area of Lagos State, South West Nigeria, recently turbaned the new Chief Imam of Ikola-Ilumo near Ipaja town, Alhaji Najeemdeen Badirudeen Amubieya.

The ceremony was performed by the Chief Imam of Ayobo, Alhaji Isa Arikewuyo, who doubles as chairman of the council, assisted by his colleagues from Ipaja, Meiran, Oke-Odo, Alagbado and others.

A certificate was also presented to Alhaji Badirudeen while the Baale of Ikola-Ilumo, Chief Adesina Aiyetobi presented the staff of office to the new Chief Imam.
