Cowrie Set To Retain Title

The defending champions of the ongoing “Friends of Rugby” organised by Lagos Rugby Union League, Cowrie Rugby Football Club, will retain their title whatever the outcome of the remaining two matches of the league.

They have successfully defended their crown in the 2010 League after they had garnered 46 points so far in the league.

There are strong indications that even if the second placed team, Addax Rugby Football Club, win six maximum points in their last two matches, it can only take their tally to 42 points, which will still be 4 points short of the defending champions’ points, even if  Cowrie do not win any of their remaining games.
