The eleven candidates aspiring for the office of the Vice Chancellor, University of Ibadan, UI would today be interviewed by the governing council of the institution.
The interview is a screening exercise which is expected to reduce the candidates to just six for election.
Out of the successful candidates, the members of the council would organise election in September to pick one among them.
The candidates are: Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic, Prof. Adigun Agbaje; Dean of student, Prof. Eyiwumi Falaye; Prof. Oluremi Bamisaye, Prof. Israel F. Adewole, Prof. A. Oluleye, Prof. O. Olorunsogo and Prof. Jadesola Aderiye (UNAD), Prof. Francis Egbokhare, Prof. Dele Layiwola, Prof. Ofonokua (UNIBEN) and Prof. Babajide Alo.
The interview which is to be chaired by the pro-chancellor, Wole Olanipekun (SAN) would last the whole day.
