Lawmaker Builds Health Centre For Community

A member of the House of Representatives representing Ojo Federal Constituency of Lagos State, Pastor C.O. Ojelabi, has said that he has constructed a health centre in his constituency which will soon be commissioned.

In a rejoinder to a news story published in the P.M. NEWS of 3 August, 2010, Ojelabi said he appreciated the efforts of the state governor, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, but the provision of a health centre and establishment of a primary school in Igbo Elerin/Agboroko was not by the state government or Iba Local Council Development Area as published in the said story.

“The true story is that the only public health centre in the community was constructed by my foundation, Hon. C.O. Ojelabi Health Foundation and it will soon be commissioned,” he stated, adding that he established a public primary school comprising a block of three classrooms, staff office, store, VIP toilets, classroom furniture and text books/teaching aids thought his constituency/MDG project in 2008.

He stated further that the above named projects do not have the input of the Lagos State or local governments as reported.
