A woman, Amaka Nwankwo, 20 has been docked at the Ikeja Magistrate’s Court for allegedly stealing N1,000,000 belonging to Mr. Adedeji Adewale of 7, Otigba Street, Ikeja, Lagos.
The offence is punishable under Section 390 of the Criminal Code, Cap.17, Vol. 2, Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2003.
She pleaded not guilty to the charge and the presiding magistrate, Mrs. Adetokunbo Omoyele, granted her bail in the sum of N250,000 with two sureties in like sum.
The case has been adjourned till 5 October, 2010.
