The Chief Coach of Lagos State Badminton Team, Taiwo Akande, is confident that his team will do well at the All Nigerian Badminton Open Championship which holds on tomorrow at the Abuja National Stadium.
Akande, who said they have been in camp for three weeks now, boasted that Lagos has what it takes to go far in the tournament.
“We are set for the championship. The players are in high spirits and ready to make the state proud when the championship starts tomorrow. We are not afraid of any team because Lagos has a team that can challenge any team in the tournament,†he said.
Akande urged his players to give their best and ensure they justify the confidence reposed in them by Lagosians.
He also charged them not to underrate their opponents and take their games with all seriousness.
