As time ticks away and politicking hots up in Nigeria ahead of 2011 elections, the South-South geopolitical Zone with the governors of the zone as the arrowheads are expected to endorse Dr.Goodluck Jonathan to contest for the Presidency at summit to be held at Hotel Presidential, Port Harcourt.
According information available to P.M.NEWS, Governor Chibuike Amaechi who has been away flew into Port Harcourt last night to host the all important summit.
It was also gathered that each state is attending the summit with 40 delegates under the auspices of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, where the South-South geopolitical zone will make a categorical statement endorsing Jonathan to foreclose any political encroachment of other contenders to the presidential ticket under the PDP ticket.
