Chief Coach of Super Falconets, Adat Egan believes his ladies will bounce back when they confront Japan on Saturday in the group stage of the FIFA U-20 Women World Cup in Germany.

Nigeria began their World Cup campaign on a shaky note after the Falconets played 1-1 with England in Augsburg, Germany yesterday.

Egan admitted that his ladies missed several chances which they could have converted to goals in the match. He, however, assured soccer-loving Nigerians that all the lapses would be corrected before their game against the Japanese ladies on Saturday.

“I was not too impressed with the outcome of the match because we deserved to win that game. We created so many chances but the ladies failed to covert them to goals for us. I am so worried because we need to score as many goals as possible in our next match if we want to qualify from the group,” he said.

With a point apiece, Nigeria and England will be looking for a maximum haul in their next outing when the Falconets take on Japan and the English ladies battle Mexico. Both games are on Saturday in Augsburg.
