Aero Contractors airline this morning at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos, Nigeria, introduced the first web and sms ticketing service in Africa called Aero web mobile.
The airline’s Head of Commercial, Mr. Robert Prophet, who unveil3e the new product to journalists, said that the new application which has been integrated to the Aero ticket in sale booking engine offers customers the opportunity to make bookings for flight ticket from any part of the world and pay on their telephone by using any of the widely acceptable international credit card as well as local debit card currently enabled for web transaction in Nigeria.
“This new service is going to revolutionise how people purchase their airline ticket and also what they expect from their airline. For our customers who doubt they can have access to computers to purchase tickets, they can now do so from their phones through Aero mobile website: www.m.flightaero.com or sms to 32120,†Mr. Prophet said.
“The new service powered by Slim Trader, a Seattle-based firm, is the first of its kind on the continent of Africa,†Slim Trader CEO, Mr. Femi Akinde, said.
