More Heads To Roll In NFF

There are indications that not only the cabal on the board of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, will be the casualties following the poor showing of the Super Eagles in the ongoing World Cup in South Africa.

The President of the NFF, Alhaji Sani Lulu, his deputy Amanze Uchegbulam and Technical Committee chairman, Taiwo Ogunjobi were impeached to appease President Jonathan Goodluck and he rescinded his decision to ban Nigeria from international competitions for two years. The Acting Chairman of the NFF, Alhaji Aminu Maigari, said the new administration will flush out all bad eggs in the Glass House. Most to be affected, according to sources at the NFF secretariat, are members of the management committee, which include Secretary-General Bolaji Ojo-Oba and some of the staff who worked closely with the impeached president of the board.

Alhaji Maigari said the sweeping change became necessary in order to give soccer-loving Nigerians, including President Jonathan, a positive impression that his board is ready to do what the country wants for her football.
