All roads lead to the Mobolaji Johnson Sports Centre (Rowe Park) Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria as the Lagos State Boxing Hall of Fame, LSBHF in conjunction with the Lagos State Amateur Boxing Association, LABA, holds the 11th Monthly Saturday Boxing Show.
The event is a monthly event and the brainchild of Wale Edun and it is aimed at discovering budding amateur boxers in Lagos and nurture them to become great professional boxers.
Nine bouts are on the card this weekend, one of the featuring female boxer. Chief Coach of LABA, Femi Babafemi said tomorrow’s show promises to be exciting because the boxers are already talking tough and threatening to go for each other’s jugular.
He also disclosed that dignitaries expected at the event tomorrow include the Commissioner for Youth Sports and Social Development, Prince Ademola Adeniji-Adele, Chairman Lagos State Sports Council, Agboola Dabiri, Chairman LABA Henry Akinwande and others.
