First Bank Basketball Club of Lagos will have their hands full if they will continue their winning streak to retain their league title in the ongoing final phase of the Zenith Bank Women Premier League.

The team will take on Delta Force Angels Basketball Club in the last match of the day, slated for the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria by 5:00p.m.

This season, the league has been full of surprises with the defending champions, First Bank, losing to First Deepwater Basketball Club of Lagos and Sunshine Angels Basketball Club of Akure in the first and second phase in Kano and Asaba respectively.

There is no doubt that the league will definitely go down the wire judging by the winning streaks of both the Elephants Girls as the Aderemi ‘Owolo’ Adewunmi tutored First Bank are called and First Deepwater team coached by Lateef Erinfolami.

Both sides have won all their matches so far and with the way they are going, it is not likely they will drop points before the last game this weekend.
