Group B was still wide open Thursday when Greece dug themselves out of a hole with a come from behind win after Nigeria had been reduced to ten men after only half an hour.

Nigeria took the lead through a Kalu Uche free-kick on 15 but then shot themselves in the foot when Sani Kaita was sent off with a straight red for an off the ball kick. This galvanised Greece who levelled through Dimitrios Salpingidis after 44 minutes and took the lead through Vasilis Torosidis on 71 in a very open second half that could have gone either way.

This leaves Argentina on six points, Greece and South Korea on three and Nigeria still to break their duck. Nigeria could still qualify, results allowing, and Argentina are not guaranteed qualification.
