Other things being equal, Nigeria’s Ehwarieme Onoriode, who campaigns in the 91+ weight category is expected to participate in a two-day amateur boxing tourney holding in London, United Kingdom, between 28 and 29 June.

In the metropolis which gave birth to modern boxing, franchise owners, coaches and general managers will descend on the UK’s capital between 28-29 June for the inaugural event. This Boxer Draft will provide the franchises, media and future fans an opportunity to experience the new WSB concept. Over the two-day draft, more than 100 of the world’s top boxers will be available for selection by the 12 franchise teams.
This marquee event will officially launch WSB in front of an international audience and create worldwide interest for boxing fans everywhere.
The Draft will consist of two rounds; the first organised as a public auction featuring the world’s top 24 boxers and the second will include all other registered WSB fighters. At the start of the auction round, boxers will be given a number and the auctioneer will select one ball. At that time, bidding amongst the franchises will begin. The 12 franchises can bid on a maximum of three boxers in the public auction part of the draft. In the remaining round, team representatives will flesh out their rosters before competition begins in November. In addition, the franchises will receive a number, indicating the position in which the specific team will select its boxer. The order of the pick will be reversed after each franchise has picked its fighter.
Each squad will be made up of at least three international boxers in a team of 10.
