Union Bank Basketball Club will on Wednesday at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos take on former champions, Ebun Comets Basketball Club in the ongoing NBBF/DSTV Premier League.
The Atlantic Conference match-up promises to be explosive given the pedigree of both sides in the league.
Union Bank, which beat Delta Force Basketball Club on Saturday will want to keep their hope of picking one of the four tickets for the Final-Eight Playoffs, while Ebun Comets will also be looking for a win to consolidate their position on the table.
Team Manager of Union Bank Basketball Club, Rotimi Savage said the match would be tough and interesting given the position of both sides on the table.
He, however, stated that they have motivated the Stallion Boys, as the Union Bank team are known, to go for victory in the match.
Peter Odia, Ebun Comets point-guard said that they are physically and psychologically ready to take on Union Bank, adding that they are going all out for victory in the match that may decide how far they will go in their quest for glory this season.
