Ogun Indigenes Honour Jubril Martins-Kuye

Ogun indigenes of Nigeria, under the aegis of Omo-Ilu Foundation and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Elders Forum in Ogun State, are set to honour the newly appointed Minister for Commerce, Chief Jubril Martins-Kuye.

The Omo-Ilu group led by top politician and businessman, Chief Buruji Kashamu and the PDP Elders Forum under the leadership of Chief Sule Onabiyi, were said to have decided to honour the new minister on Sunday, 6 June for his astute leadership in the state.

According to a member of the organising committee, Ambassador Tunde Oladunjoye, the occasion which will hold at the Omo-Ilu Foundation permanent secretariat at Abusi Edumare Academy, Ijebu-Igbo, would be chaired by the former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.

Oladunjoye, the suspended chairman of Ijebu-East Local Government Council who is also the chairman, protocol sub-committee for the Jubril Martins-Kuye reception, said Senators Lekan Mustapha, Iyabo Obasanjo-Bello, Olu Bajomo and Hon. Dare Salako, among others, have promised to grace the special reception slated for 2 p.m..
