Budding humour merchant, Ikechukwu Gabriel otherwise known as IG of Comedy, has said that making people laugh is part of his life.
He noted that right from childhood, he has been making people laugh, but didn’t take it as a profession until 2007.
The Imo State-born dude told P.M. Entertainment that “my parents told me that right from a tender age, I have been doing funny things that make people laugh and this continued in my secondary school days before I decided to take it seriously in 2007.
“Right now, comedy is my life and I don’t think I can do any other thing outside it. So far, there is no regret taking comedy as a profession.â€
P.M. Entertainment gathered that IG’s first show as a comedian was given to him by another comedian, Holy Mallam, in 2007. He later met Gbenga Adeyinka 1st and both of them still work together.
