Orile-Agege Council Lays Foundation For New Office

Chairman, Orile Agege Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, Nigeria, Taofeek Abiodun Adaranijo, has laid the foundation of a new multi-million naira office complex.

The new office complex is sited at the back of the current secretariat of the LCDA.

Adaranijo also commissioned other projects including four roads—Aina Akera Street, Adaranijo Street, Akinleye Street and Bade Abiona Street; a Primary Health Center at Oyewole Street and two newly sunk bore holes at Powerline and Oduwole Street.

Speaking at the occasion, Adaranijo said the reason he embarked on the projects was to leave an evalasting legacy and further entrench in the history of the LCDA, a permanent entity that can never be errased by anyone.

“Today heralds a new hisotry in Orile Agege LCDA. Last year, when this administration celebrated its 200 days in office, we promsied to commence work on the new council secretariat, today, history is being made as the foundation is being laid for the construction of the our new secretariat to the glory of God and benefit of mankind.

“This administration is committed and determined in its agenda for a better life, education, health, waste and sanitation management and social development are bing given more priority. We will continue to improve on our services to the populace and strive towards laying a sound foundation for those coming after us,” he said.

Adaranijo enjoined the people of the council area to patronise the newly commissioned public health centre and medical diagnositic laboratory, which he said has been fully equipped to bring affordable medical care to the door steps of th epeople.

“We have lived up to our promises of giving better and befitting life to the people of Orile Agege. I am proud to say that a lot has been achieved by our administration and more will still be done to fulfil our promise of a worthy life for the people,” he stated.
