The Local Organising Committee, LOC, for the 2010 Lagos State Inter-Tertiary Institutions Championship will meet for the third time tomorrow at the Media Centre of the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria.
P.M.Sports gathered that the meeting will be addressed by Prince’Wale Oladunjoye, Senior Special Assistant on Grassroots Sports Development to Governor Babatude Raji Fashola.
Committees headed by Ewa Henshaw, Dr. Adiat Arinye, Aghaeze Collins and Special Lagos State Sports Consultant, Dr. Niran Adeniji, would converge to deliberate on the progress made towards achieving a hitch-free competition, which will begin on 24 June.
Representatives from Lagos State University, LASU; University of Lagos, UNILAG; Lagos State Polytechnic, LASPOTECH; Lagos State College of Technology, Yabatech; Adeniran Ogunsanya Collge of Education, Otto Ijanikin and other 13 other tertiary institutions in the state are expected at the meeting, where issues such as games’ venues, match officials and sundry logistics for a successful tourney will be discussed.
