The much awaited second edition of Golden Chance Lotto Cup Championship has kicked off yesterday at the Government Technical College, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos.

The tourney, which is being packaged by Skippo Sports Promotion, owned by Coach Tijani LuQman, will be played for a month.

Speaking with P.M.Sports, Coach LuQman, who has been in sports promotion for four years said: “My love for grassroots football and the need to discover budding talents are some of the reasons for this Golden Lotto football tourney. And most importantly is the fact that football in Ikeja is still at its lowest ebb.

“This made me to meet with the management of Golden Chance Lotto, which also saw reason in the dream I have for football in Ikeja and Lagos State as a whole.

“Twenty teams have registered to take part in this year’s tourney. The matches will be played on daily basis until the final. I believe that at the end of the day, a winner will emerge.”
