There’s been loads of talks around Governor Akinwunmi Ambode’s decision to reduce the powers of Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) to traffic control particularly after his decision supposedly led to heavy traffic on major roads across the metropolis.

Ambode’s decision also came under the spotlight when The Economist wrote a piece on Lagos under his leadership but the video below suggests that the soft-spoken governor might be right after all.

On Monday 16 November, LASTMA officials at Berger, Lagos state unprofessionally tried to seize a bus that had a punctured tyre.
